5th annual South African Prepayment Week 2006
South Africa Prepayment Week 2006 (SAPW), now in its fifth year, will showcase prepayment, as the technology continues to revolutionise utilities’ ability to collect revenue. Although prepayment remains a controversial subject, markets worldwide are showing increasing interest in the technology.
SAPW provides an opportunity for electricity, water and telecommunications prepayment experts to meet, exchange ideas, create new business opportunities, evaluate new prepayment technologies and position themselves to make the right revenue management decisions.
This is the only seminar of its kind to focus on prepayment technologies and projects. South Africa is known as the global leaders in prepayment technologies and applications. This year the conference will concentrate on PODs, vending services and integration of prepayment systems in one sector, taking them to a new level to have combined systems and shared services for water, electricity and telecoms. Consumer acceptance strategies will also be tackled.
This will be the second year that SAPW is part of African Utility Week and will take place from the 8-12 May 2005 in Cape Town, South Africa. SAPW 2006 will have sessions dedicated to prepayment.
