Over 600 participants from across the country attended the conference and learning expo at Vodaworld, Midrand, 12 - 15 August 2009.
Programme highlights included the welcome address by Angie Motshekga, Minister of Basic Education, keynote by Denis Goldberg, pre-conference masterclasses on project leadership and coaching and mentoring, and the interactive teacher workshops by Maggie Verster and Alan Clarke.
The conference sessions were well attended and the Macmillan cocktail reception and Teacher Appreciation Awards Ceremony was a great way to recognise individuals who stand out for their commitment to lead our nation into the future.
