The first ESI Africa Hydropower Africa conference held in Johannesburg lat year was a resoundingly successful event and attracted over 100 industry experts.
This forum – the only high-level niche conference focusing on hydropower generation project implementation in Africa – brought together government and utility stakeholders, financiers and investors, engineers, consultants and environmental specialists and the broader utility community.
Incisive presentations, panel discussions and specialised sessions provided practical guidelines and opened up real discussion to facilitate solutions and partnerships for implementing small and large hydropower projects in Africa.
