The inauguaral iPAD (Infrastructure Partnerships for African Development) Angola 2009 conference took place in Luanda, Angola, from 24-26 March this year. Attended by the Deputy Ministers of Industry and Transport, the National Director of Mining, the National Director of Energy and the Chairman of water utility EPAL, among others, this event provided attendees with an ideal forum to investigate investment opportunities, meet with local businesses and government representatives, and familiarise themselves with the Angolan marketplace. Exhibitors and sponsors made the most of the opportunity to improve their business positioning, branding and marketing; and increase their footprint in this dynamic and lucrative market.
