Why DRC?
June 2006 marks the first democratic election process in the DRC since 1984. At this historic juncture in the history of the DRC, the iPAD Central Africa conference and Executive Insider Briefing(EIB) are well timed, providing ideal access to a previously inaccessible market ripe with potential.
Kinshasa, a strategic location at the heart of Africa, gateway to the Central African region and a crossroads to the North, South, East and West of the continent.
Central Africa has vast pools of navigable water and energy. The Central African Power Pool was created in 2003 to exploit these potentialities, but there is still much that can be done to benefit the people in the region. Mineral resources are also vital in the development of the infrastructure and is a key focus area for the region.
iPAD Central Africa 2006 provides an opportunity to network directly with key partners. The event aims to facilitate regional planning and collaborations under one roof between government, the public sector and business. iPAD Central Africa 2006 is a one-stop-shop for investigating investment opportunities in DRC and the Central African region as a whole.
