Field Visit to EPM’s prepayment project in Medellin

The site visit will take the participants to the field in order for them to understand the type of users and areas where the prepaid system has been deployed.
Initially we will go to the town called Popular, its neighborhoods had the highest rate of disconnections at the beginning of the program.
Once we are in the area, the technical staff will explain the adaptations and adjustments made for the installation of these equipments in order to ensure the security of the network against potential fraud.
Participants will be able to visit one or two families and interact with them to find out their perception of the program. Additionally they will able to visit an outlet and hear the views of the shopkeeper.
